Working on agent-based energy transition models at NEON Research I explore and analyze robust pathways to accelerate the energy transition. These models enable me to take a broad perspective to transition pathways, from technologically and economically feasible scenarios towards socially preferred transitions. We do this by adding transition theories, market behavior and human preferences to the analysis of net-zero energy systems.

At Zenmo simulations we make models to get a grip on the energy & mobility transition. We use scientific knowledge & methods in combination with big data to make virtual labs. These virtual labs are unique tools to transform complex dilemmas into a sustainable vision.Within the team of Zenmo I am responsible for a number of assignments and the corresponding models

In my graduation project I made an agent-based model of Noord-Brabant's energy system to analyze different 100% renewable energy systems. The model was used in an interactive brainstorm session on renewable energy with the State Council.
