A combination between academic sciences & applied technologies leads to build up skills & experiences, particularly in food & agriculture sector . The ultimate outcome of such merging is : Investment which is considered as a tool for a rapid changes. In Arab region, traditional food production system which is commonly practiced with its limited contribution to GDP is likely to be replaced through the adoption of a profitable forms of investment. However, investment requires skillful managements & accumulated experiences in various technical, marketing, economical & financial aspects. On the other hand, food self sufficiency as a primary pillar of food security can only be achieved via encouraging food & agriculture investments.Accordingly, I have been focusing & experiencing this multidimensional subject along with its related prerequisites for more than 25 yrs in most of the Arab countries & consequently such efforts resulted in achieving many success stories, for instance : introduction of zero tillage farming system, practiced precision farming technology, modeling of direct linked of applied research to investment & implementing full technical packages on pilot & commercial projects aiming to modernize farming systems as well as to establish profitable agribusiness. Ultimately, this subject requires considerable attention by all stakeholders.In this context, prepared around 36 feasibility studies, evaluate more than 150 feasibility studies, published more than 30 papers, prepared more than 250 studies & review articles, involved in implementing investment projects, established system for monitoring of existed projects & chaired or board member of 10 companies in Arab countries. Contributed in many strategic studies, business plan & food security studies . They all have been focused on various aspects & prospectives of food & agriculture sector.
