As a Lead Engineer at Classranked, I lead technical projects from planning through execution, balancing both strategic and hands-on responsibilities. I oversee project planning and roadmap prioritization to ensure our products evolve in ways that deliver the highest value to our users. Additionally, I designed, built, and now maintain our role-based and attribute-based access control systems, which are essential for secure, scalable user access and permissions across our platform.My journey has been shaped by a diverse mix of backend development, infrastructure setup, and DevOps, giving me a well-rounded approach to building and deploying reliable, high-impact software. Previously, I worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the WSDL lab at Old Dominion University, where I focused on information retrieval and web science projects—skills that continue to enhance my work in understanding and structuring complex data relationships.Prior to that, I was a Software Engineer in the Product Development R&D wing of Harman Connected Services, where I specialized in the Internet of Things (IoT), learning firsthand the challenges of developing user-centered, innovative products.I’m passionate about creating scalable systems that prioritize user experience and security.
