I am responsible for the development and set up of In-line robotic inspection, fixed In-line gaging, and robot guidance systems using laser based sensors at automotive facilities located in the US and internationally.

As an intern I was responsible for determining feed drive properties, such as static and colomb friction values, mass of the feed drive when modeled as a rigid body, and masses of the feed drive when modeled as a two mass vibrating model, using data from encoders located on the machine tool (That I analyzed on Matlab). As an intern, I was a member of a team controlling the production and machining activities at the plant. My responsibilities included production scheduling and inventory planning. I co-ordinated with design engineers to establish machining parameters for components and assemblies for the healthcare industry. This included modifying process parameters, writing G&M codes, designing fixtures, and recommending quality control procedures for new components.

I was responsible for running tensile, compressive, and flexural tests on rod and plate polymer components. Based on the results, I recommended changes in the processing conditions.I was also responsible for developing a 10mm diameter die for an extrusion machine.
