Responsible for providing day-to-day leadership and management of Envestnet | PMC’s Research team in India, across multiple asset classes (Equity, Fixed Income, and Multi-Asset). My team works closely with research and portfolio management teams in the US and is primarily responsible for conducting research and due diligence on US domiciled, active & passive, mutual funds and SMAs. Apart from fund research, I am equally passionate about Global Macro and also sit on the firm’s Global Macro Committee (https://envestnet.blog/category/macro-themes/)I am also part of Association of Professional Fund Investors (APFI) Leadership Team. Prior to joining Envestnet, I worked with HSBC for six years undertaking research and due diligence on long-only mutual funds. At HSBC, I was primarily responsible for researching fixed income and multi asset mutual funds, as well as leadership and administrative functions of the fixed income research team. Before taking up fund research as a career, I held trading and analyst roles across asset classes like commodities, currencies and equities at organizations such as Geojit BNP Paribas and HSBC Investdirect.Apart from doing fund research, and helping others make a career in fund research, I enjoy reading, travelling, and photography.
