 Handle all technical aspects of procurement for all in hand projects. Produces technical data/analysis for all materials required for construction projects. Coordinate with client and consultant for approval of materials when required. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, project manager, construction manager and site engineers to clarify sub-contractor and suppliers. Review/Revising pre-qualification prior to tender issuance to sub-contractors. Receiving and reviewing bid proposals. Preparing tender comparison sheets/Recommendation reports for all trade packages to the top management. Assisting in preparing sub-contracts for the different work packages. Ensuring that the award and administration of sub-contractors on projects is carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures. Administrating the sub-contractors contracts regarding term conditions, specification, general performance, site progress, quality of work, safety, schedule and correspondence. Keeping track of estimated and/or amended sub-contracts and change order values. Studying & preparing change order to existing sub-contract for change in scope and/or pricing. Assisting in the review and settlement of any claims that may be raised by sub-contractors. Preparing monthly reports regarding change orders, claims by sub-contractors, actual vs. Budget value. Working to create and promote a safe working environment.

Karachi

 Projects feasibility evaluation. Local and Group Project approvals. Contractual negotiations with supplier and vendors as per group guidelines. Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, business units, architects, consultants and distributors to achieve Bank goals and requirements. Oversee new ventures/Projects i.e. opening up of new branches, offices and access shop. Development/Implementation of Dept. Operating Instructions (DOI) for the Dept and Projects. Rationalization of integrating SCB’s distribution channels on country level to bring in synergy. Keeping track of departmental activities and prompt reporting to higher management. Management of pan Pakistan capacity planning. Staff supervision and coaching for succession planning along with staff training needs.
