I have worked on various senior level positions including CEO of a listed financial institution and a Real Estate Investment Trust Management Company. Appointment on both these positions required approval of Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan as per its criteria of "Fit and Proper Person".Besides this I have extensive experience in handling real estate projects form ground zero level till handing over to the end users. The project were entirely handled by me including resource mobilisation particularly through First real estate ever launched in Pakistan. The transaction was structured by me in collaboration with the lead arranger.As CEO of a financial institution I dealt with varying types of borrowers and financial structures. The financial transactions were structured keeping in view the requirement of the client.Further I have experience of loan rescheduling and restructuring, strategic planning, financial planning and other facets of real estate and financial sector.At present I am working as Group CFO of Gourmet Group. The group started from food and beverage sector and has now diversified into financial and electronic media sectors and is planning to enter real estate sector as well. The group recently subscribed for 12% shareholding in International Islamic Rating Agency Bahrain. The annual turnover of the group is around US$ 500 million.
