CurrentResearch Focus: Investigating Fatigue Behavior of Soft Matter and Biomedical MaterialsAs a PhD candidate at Koc University, I am dedicated to exploring the fatigue behavior of soft matter, with a particular emphasis on biomedical materials such as elastomers and their response to repeated cyclic loading. To achieve this, I have developed an advanced force-controlled fatigue testing methodology that utilizes digital image correlation techniques for precise measurement of strain deformation.In my previous research, I contributed to the field of biomechanics by conducting mechanical characterization and modeling of aorta tissues. Additionally, I investigated cell mechanics using substrate strain and micro post array methodologies. I also engineered a biaxial tensile testing setup to study the influence of mechanical properties of cell scaffolds on cellular and tissue growth dynamics.My multidisciplinary research experience spans various areas, including soft matter mechanics, fatigue testing, digital image correlation, biomechanics, biaxial and uniaxial tensile testing, cell mechanics, tissue engineering, and project management. I have successfully secured funding from Tubitak for my current project and have demonstrated strong grant writing skills.This diverse research sphere holds immense potential for various applications, such as tissue engineering, lab-grown tissue production, cultured meat cultivation, and advancements in prosthetics technology.
