With a Master's in Computer Science obtained in 2000, I bring over two decades of diverse professional experience, ranging from Information Technology to entrepreneurship, culminating in a robust skill set and a deep understanding of technology and business dynamics. My professional journey began at Bank Alfalah Ltd, where I served as an Information Technology Officer. During my tenure, I was heavily involved in the testing and implementation of a sophisticated Banking Application, which not only enhanced my technical proficiency but also deepened my understanding of core banking concepts. This exposure to the banking sector ignited a passion that led me to transition into the core banking field, where I amassed 18 years of industry experience. In 2019, I enthusiastically embarked on an entrepreneurial venture by launching a restaurant in Istanbul, Turkey. Despite showing promising beginnings, the unforeseen impact of the Covid-19 pandemic brought about restrictions on public movement and business operations. Consequently, the restaurant incurred losses, necessitating its closure. Undeterred by this setback, I remained resilient and adaptive. As soon as restrictions eased, I seized the opportunity to initiate a new business endeavor focused on exporting used clothing from Turkey to Pakistan. This venture received positive feedback and demand, prompting expansion plans. However, the global shipping container crises emerged, leading to substantial increases in freight and shipping charges. Unfortunately, these heightened operational costs rendered the business unsustainable, resulting in its closure. During late 2023, I made the decision to refresh and enhance my coding skills, which I initially acquired during my academic years. Through self-study using platforms such as FCC and YouTube tutorials, I dedicated myself to mastering a diverse array of languages and frameworks. As a result, I have become proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Bulma, Material UI, SQL, MongoDB, and MongoDB Atlas. I am particularly excited about the prospect of joining the position of Frontend Developer, as I am impressed by its reputation for innovation and commitment to excellence.
