I am a bio-entrepreneur and the founder of Daskdan Innovations. At Daskdan, we believe that the human race is on a suicidal path owing to its dependency on using essential human drugs (primarily antibiotics) for food for animals. However, using such medically crucial drugs in the animal industry remains questioned but not fully challenged. Established in 2020 and based in the foothills of the Himalayas, we are developing a technology that we call Computer-Aided Phytotherapy (aCAP). aCAP is a unique artificial intelligence-driven response to the growing threat of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) arising from the animal industry. Using aCAP, we can explore the Phyto-biome of the Himalayan region for purposing/repurposing Himalayan herbs for desired therapeutic/neutraceutical effects in the animal industry. In our journey to intercept the antimicrobial resistance evolution in livestock, Our start-up has received Pre-SEED support of USD 80000 in grants from the Department of Science and Technology and the Department of Biotechnology.
