Plan efficient cargo operations and ensure the compliance procedures are followed.Supervise all stevedore activities of up to 100 permanent staff and 150 Contractual labors engaged in the loading and unloading of cargoes and vessel handling including port operations and planning on daily basis.Advise safe handling gears to be used during ship’s loading and unloading operations.Control procedures and operations of FAP laboratory in order to monitor cargo quality, quantity, deterioration, shrinkage and moisture content.Inspect Cargo storage silos, ware houses, Ship Unloaders, Conveying System, Cargo Handling Gears and open areas of terminal after each handling of fertilizer to make sure that machines are fit for handling edible grain commodity and establish need of cleaning, fumigation, and pest control and wash down as per SOP’s.Leads HSE and well being of personnel to promote safe working practices and deliver in-house staff training on safety and basic firefighting.
