• Managed a 20-person team of undergraduate students, responsible for the construction portion of UofT’s entry in the EERI Seismic Design Competition.• Oversaw the fabrication of 3 balsa wood towers designed to resist significant seismic loads, including the Kusari Tower to compete in the 2024 Seattle competition; placed 13th out of 41 international design teams.• Used SolidWorks to design three innovative jigs that can be 3D-printed at low cost, to dramatically improve the assembly process.

• Assisted in the design of a quad-axial filament winder, to facilitate the construction of complex 3D forms out of composite materials such as carbon fibre or fibreglass.• Manufactured critical parts of the airframe for hybrid and liquid rockets, including the fill bay, avionics bay, and recovery bay. Used carbon fibre and fibreglass with various epoxies on an aluminum mandrel to form uniform cylindrical components.

• Designed and fabricated formwork to test the performance of Glass Fibre Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) rebar as a corrosion-free alternative to traditional steel rebar.• Cast 100+ pullout and compression specimens and completed required slump tests; prepared for casting of 10 large beam specimens.• Designed and manufactured 3D-printable tools to ensure alignment of rebar within concrete moulds, avoiding critical errors in casts.• Contrasted corrosion response of GFRP against steel rebar under ambient and marine conditions, by using flat-bed scanning techniques to perform cross-sectional analysis of reinforced concrete columns; evaluated trends in corrosion cracking and chloride penetration.• Conducted extensive literature reviews of relevant publications in the field, with a focus on failure mechanisms in GFRP pullout tests.

• Utilized the ChatGPT API to create a customized, interactive chatbot for professional use in the Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) field.• Automated an article collection process to train the chatbot on extensive datasets from JP Morgan Markets and other authorities.• Worked independently to meet deadlines, prepare reports, and demonstrate progress to supervisors.
