Reporting to the Managing Director of the company and following are my core responsibilities:• Responsible for continuous mining & production activities of the plant.• Looking after maintenance works of the Plant, Trucks & Equipments in the site.• Coordinating logistics and trip management of the product.• Hiring of trucks and equipment and negotiating the leasing rates.

Reporting to the Group General Manager, and CEO, following are my core responsibilities:• Receiving enquiries from clients.• Scrutinizing the enquiries based on the viability and feasibility.• Assisting the assistants to find supplier sources to obtain competitive quotes from thevendors/suppliers -local & Overseas.• Identifying the appropriate tenders floated in the market from tender board & registered clientportals and Newspapers.• Analyzing, evaluating and submitting the bid proposals.• Negotiating on the Price & terms of payment.• Issuing purchase orders, organizing letter of credits as required.• Follow up on delivery of materials with suppliers and vendors.• Vendor selection & development.• Working with other departments to ensure that their purchase requirements are met in the mostefficient and timely manner.• Working with Suppliers & Customers to resolve product complaints and delivery issues.

•Negotiate best prices/discounts and payment terms with existing and new vendors within Oman and Internationally.•Review and update, on a quarterly basis, all existing local and overseas suppliers to ensure that their services and prices offered are competitive.•Identify new suppliers on a regular basis.•Ensure that proper quotes and approvals are obtained for all purchases.•Maintain a record of all purchase requisitions received and ensure prompt action taken to procure and deliver the required spares/materials.•To ensure the following while purchasing and incurring capital expenditurea)Competitive quotes are obtained for all items exceeding RO.500/-b)For all items exceeding RO.10000/- sealed tender/ quotes to be obtained.c)Ensure proper specifications and contracts are drawn up with the vendors for all Capital Expenditure.•Prepare a weekly report on pending requisitions and the expected date of arrival of the materials. Circulate the report to the departments/ users concerned with a copy to the Chairman’s Office.
