At Comcast, I primarily work to transform data from diverse sources into actionable insights. Currently, I am involved with the finance and marketing teams to understand key drivers of revenue growth and highlight potential areas of weakness. Some of my key tasks are below:• Modeling data in Python to explore and answer declining customer counts, using regression and random forests, and presenting findings/visualizations to executives. • Responsible for extracting and transforming messy data using complex SQL queries to model the monthly movement of customers, packages, and rates for the entire Northeast division.• Generating visualizations and report dashboards to present findings to upper level management. • Automated daily and weekly reports with Python, and have started to provide training on automation procedures to coworkers and upper level management, which is reducing weekly hours over 35%.

At Wainwright, I worked with managers of both the discretionary and non discretionary business units. Here I was responsible for qualitative and quantitative analysis on markets, industries, and investment products. Some of my projects are below:• Using R and MATLAB, I analysed time series data on the VIX and its underlying products to develop trading strategies. I used ARMA models and variations of ARCH models to capture structural movements in the VIX, such as clustering and asymmetric correlations. • Performed statistical tests, such as linear and multiple regressions, on global exchange traded products to pinpoint exact market events that caused correlations to drop or rise significantly.
