Motorola India: I worked (1998-2007) for Motorola’s Connected Home Solutions (CHS) that was formed with the merger of General Instrument Inc and Motorola Inc in January 2000.Prior to the merger I was employed with General Instrument India (GI India Private Limited) and handled key sales and account management assignments.CHS offered a wide portfolio of Converged Products & Solutions for the Telecom & Cable Industry that included Conditional Access Solutions + Set Top Boxes.In this roles I was reporting to the Country Manager Motorola CHS and was taking care of Key Accounts for the business.

In this role I handled the sales for the Western & Northern Region of India for Motorola's Broadband Communication Sector (Now Connected Home Solutions) selling & marketing convergent technologly solutions to Telecom & Cable & DTH Operators.

Part of the Business India Group of Publications, which was in operations of Multi-System Cable Networks in 10 cities around India (Now a part of the Hathway Cable Group) and had also, launched its satellite channel “TVI.Job responsibilities mainly focussed on operations of the Cable Headend + Ground Distribution of "TVI" the company broadcast news channel.

Reporting to: Director of Operations, Mumbai. Job responsibilities included:• Operations of Cable & Data Networks in South India.• In charge of commercial functions of the entire branch.• Stock planning.

This was a proprietorship cable network run by me, catering to residents of South Bangalore. This network was eventually merged with BITV Cable Networks in March 1998.The cable network business was started by me as a hobby and grew large over time; it ran in parallel with my other carrier opportunities till 1998 when I decided to merge it with a larger corporation.

This firm was the distributor for various CATV/MATV products having its operations set up in the city of Bangalore. During my tenure in this firm, A & N had installed more than 100 CATV Headends in of South India. A& N was the distributor for MCE Products Service Ltd, from whom we sold products of Texscan, Antec, Blonder Tongue & General Instrument etc
