As a mining student, I am passionate about exploring the earth’s resources and finding innovative ways to extract them sustainably.I'm a second-year postgraduate mining engineering student at Curtin University. I earned my bachelor's degree in mining engineering in India and completed six months of practical training in a coal mine, where I worked as a student trainee. This experience allowed me to apply theoretical concepts to real-world situations, enhancing my understanding of mining operations.Currently, I'm working with ISH24 as a confined space manager (sentry). In this role, I have honed my problem-solving skills by working in confined spaces with different crews and tasks. I've also improved my communication skills, ensuring accurate information is shared via two-way radio. Additionally, my role has taught me the importance of flexibility, adaptability, time management, and punctuality in maintaining accurate documents. I've gained significant knowledge in safety protocols, which are crucial in the mining industry.I am excited to explore internship opportunities that provide hands-on experience in mining operations, where I can apply my knowledge and learn from industry professionals. I'm passionate about mining and committed to continuing my professional growth, with the ultimate goal of becoming a mining engineer.
