• Manage operations at three stores of 7,000 SFT with an annual sales target of over 19 Crores at the international and domestic terminals at Bangalore airport• Manage 63 staff members who operate the airport stores on a 24x7 basis and whose responsibilities cover sales, visual merchandising, logistics and accounts• Responsible for inventory of over 18,000 SKUs worth 8 Crores at any given point that is sourced from 29 vendors from all over India• Designed and implemented a retail strategy that increased sales by cross selling products from different categories• Identified new product categories based on customer feedback and market intelligence studies that led to sales of over 35 Lacs annually• Analyze sales figures to ensure that best selling and non-performing stock levels are maintained appropriate levels• Identified reasons for low performing categories and then designed& implement turn around strategies that reduced slow moving SKUs• Designed SOPs that cover HR practices, inventory management and accounts• Oversee operations at a 600 SFT store at Kochi international airport and an 800 SFT store at Inorbit Mall, Bangalore• Train, mentor and motivate sales staff so that they understand the product range that they sell and are able to meet quality and sales targets of the company
