A computational biologist and a biotech entrepreneur based in the Bay Area. I'm currently building AnuBio, an AI-driven cancer drug discovery startup and actively maneuvering science and strategy behind our work.I built and scaled Carot Labs, a microbial ingredients company that develops fungal and algal microbial platforms for producing health ingredients, to accelerate the shift of the ingredient supply chain from chemical synthesis and animal origin products to sustainable sources. As a first, we reimagined and scaled the entire tech stack for producing Astaxanthin from Haematococcus pluvialis and developed IP across strain, bioprocess, production systems and strain specific AI models for quality control and contamination detection. Carot Labs is one of the youngest recipients of DSIR R&D recognition, SBIRI Research Grant, PATH grant and more. I also headed Product@ANAVI (www.anavivr.com), delivering VR software development services with seamless AI integration into the VR experience and workflow.Previously, I led an interdisciplinary team that won the "Breast Cancer Startup Challenge", a White House initiative to promote tech entrepreneurship, conducted by National Institute of Health (NIH) and Center for Advancing Innovation (CAI). The novel genome-based diagnostic technology was spun-off into Heragen. I’ve also had the chance to work with the sequencing bioinformatics team at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab in California, which was a fantastic learning experience.While building biotech companies, I focus on implementing lean and efficient innovation processes to increase runway and chance of success. In addition to my biotech roles, I'm involved with Yuvabharathi International School in Singapore as a Director. It's a great way to stay connected with education and contribute to shaping young minds.I'm all about building collaboration and strong partnerships.
