Prepared and rolled out process for migration Windows server and client farm. This was based on my previous experiences; we collaborated and formed a process for a smooth migration of Operating systems for servers and packaged application

My immediate challenge was to understand their existing systems setup, prepare a standard inventory list with customised parameters (both Hardware and Software), Compatibility reports and chalk out a delivery and execution plan. Role varied from being a Software Architect to that of a Business Analyst. It was one of the most difficult working arenas where Supplier and Customer work under one roof!

Capita had pitched and secured a multi-million pound “The National Strategies” contract to act as a delivery centre for The Department of Education, a government department responsible for all education and children’s services (http://www.education.gov.uk/). I was recruited specifically for this project to form a two man team to handle all IT related requests. Over years our two man team grew to a full fledged IT department comprising of over 60 members. Our department had teams for Analysis, development, infrastructure, testing and support which was catering to various business needs both planned and on demand. -Client is a well known Investment management bank in Central London-Responsible for making all internal developed applications ran flawless.-Provide a first stance report of all major bugs reported to helpdesk and subsequently provide fixes and release it thru a proper version release system-Have documented majority of the applications written by ex-programmers/analysts. This facilitated in handling knowledge transfers in a swifter manner.-Worked extensively on real-time systems and complete know-how of fallback procedures.-Introduced documentation standards, coding standards and recommendations for improving application performance.-All our work had to comply with BVQI standards
