I’m a former shutterbug who traded his DLSR for a pen after discovering the art of writing. And haven't looked back since!––––I was a reluctant writer up until I graduated from journalism school in the spring of 2014.I got on the next flight to India to freelance as a photojournalist. It was a while before I discovered that making a living purely as an independent reportage photographer was going to be way tougher than I anticipated. That’s when I took up writing seriously and co-wrote my first feature story – When Passion Calls (link below) – the following year. Although the piece was rejected by several digital news publications, I was determined to get published. Fast forward to 2017, I had worked with the likes of The Hindu, Narratively, and Scroll plus got my pictures published in The Wall Street Journal. After three years of hustling, I felt it was time to move on. Thanks to a friend, I was hired as a content writer by one of India’s biggest SaaS unicorns, Zoho. I learned the ropes of B2B writing here.It wasn’t until I moved to Freshworks that I began appreciating the medium and started putting out blogs regularly. I also got to explore email marketing here and by the time I left I had executed several high-impact webinar campaigns for the company.I now work at Sprinklr, the world’s only Unified-CXM platform, as a content lead. I can’t wait to apply all the skills I’ve picked up in these last few years to help drive the company’s content marketing initiatives.
