Spearheads Headstreams, an NGO that promotes human development, since 2008. Leads Headstreams' work on rural livelihoods and improving learning outcomes among children and youth from under-served communities in Karnataka, India. Headstreams is recognised as a pioneer in reimagining learning through play. Wide range of intervention experiences in addressing vulnerability in crisis situations and part of disaster response in various parts of India. Experience in health research and policy issues as part of the Community Health Cell and WHO Watch Team of the People's Health Movement. Actively involved in the design and facilitation of the Post-Graduate Diploma and other academic courses in Human Development, offered by Headstreams in association with several Universities. A trained social worker with Master's and Doctoral degree in Social Work from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai, and a specialised course in Medical Law and Ethics from National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru. Academic experience includes teaching Professional Ethics to Post Graduate students and serving on the Board of Studies of Social Work.
