Hello everyone, welcome to my LinkedIn Profile page. My name is Nicholas Avery but I go by Nick. I am currently looking for a data analyst position. I am a Data Analyst with an extensive background in Chemistry, the Pharmaceutical Industry, and the Energy Sector. I have experience using MySQL, SQL Server and Power Bi to create customized dashboards based on specific data requirements. I also have experience writing custom python scripts to automate manual tasks, streamlining procedures and saving companies both time and money. I am also studying to become a data engineer. I am currently also working on two personal projects. The first project is a custom python webscrapping script that pulls stock data on Congressional Trades. The python code can be found on my Github account. The data is then used in a custom Power BI dashboard. The second project is a custom python script using Streamlit to create an interactive Fundamental Analysis Stock evaluator. I plan on reworking both personal projects to test my growing knowledge of data engineering.
