Worked as part of the IoT device services group within AWS. Designed and developed a self qualification platform for IoT devices to get qualified for AWS services(IoT) in a seamless manner. Developed CI/CD for the software, and an ETL solution based on AWS Lambda and AWS Glue for metrics extraction and visualization(AWS Quicksight) from access logs.

As a part of the Data Normalization Systems team in Catalog Quality. Developed metrics to help measure the impact of normalization process on the health of Amazon's Catalog.

Worked on NCHRP project titled "Data Management Practices". Assisted in developing software capabilities to manage and analyze collected data.

Worked as a research intern under Dr. Justin Zhan.I studied research papers in Big Data, and implemented algorithms for an ongoing project. Main topics were - - Community Detection based on Distance Dynamics.- Scaling Personalized Page-Rank Estimation for Large Graphs.

I worked in the Systems team at BlueStacks. My role was diverse and ranged from the kernel programming to the application layer. Primarily, it was embedded android in the sense that we ported android to x-86 architecture so that android apps run fine on windows. At times, it involved debugging hard problems that involved reading a lot of code and using the help of people who specialize in those areas. I got to work with some of the best people in the field and learned a lot. My major projects were -1. Porting BlueStacks from ICS version to JellyBean, and then further to KitKat, mainly android's framework.2. Boot time optimization and input method handling in BlueStacks.3. Redesigned and developed the Build System of BlueStacks. It involved scripting in bash and python.4. Built, changed and maintained components of Partial Upgrade Mechanism. 5. Worked with Tencent's team in China for a month to help them integrate BlueStacks in their gaming platform. 6. Developed an android application 'Spotlight' to help users discover new games and top apps. Learned mobile technologies.Worked on team project to develop plugins of the VIVO Meeting Software for the android and blackberry platforms. VIVO meeting is a unified conferencing tool for web, audio and video conferencing.
