He has professionally stamped some of the most impressive tuned-mass dampers for skyscrapers in the Middle East, Taiwan, and right here in North America; more specifically, in New York City. The total value of these elite projects ranged from $100-120 Million. ~NM Engineering has solidified its place in the industry, by becoming the official Representative of GERB in Canada. GERB has more than 110 years of vibration control experience.~NM Engineering successfully installed a GERB designed and manufactured, tuned-mass damper for Grand Quay Observation Tower in Montreal, Quebec, in the Winter of 2020.

Responsibilities included owning the end-to-end process of design, liaising with fabrication partners, and overseeing installation of infrastructure projects, ranging in value of $50K to $7 Million. Detailed scoping of requirements, structural and weld design including fracture and fatigue analysis (GD&T, FEA, 3D Design and Shop drawing generation), selection of off-the-shelf parts, raw materials and heat treatment, value engineering and creating detailed BOM, design for manufacturability (DFM)Key Accomplishments: - Delivered projects efficiently, within budget, and beyond the standards of international clients in North America, Asia and the Middle East.- Led a team of five engineers through the design and installation phases and liaised with fabrication partners around the globe on more than twelve megastructure projects- Conceptualized, designed and developed a first-of-a-kind Virtual Reality tuned mass damper system; this portable setup offered 100% fidelity to the mechanical design and awarded the company several contracts; it helped clients visualize and understand the scope of the multi-hundred ton and multimillion-dollar structures- Gave invited lectures on mechanical design to the Grand River Chapter of Professional Engineers of Ontario and the University of Waterloo Mechanical Engineering Department
