CurrentReporting to the COO and leading a team of 7 Freight and Transport specialists managing a $40M national and international freight budget, overseeing freight partners' relationships and executing projects worth over $3.5M.Achievements:➡️ Led the implementation of 30 recommendations under Project Mercury, including warehouse redesign, tech upgrades, and cross-docking, projected to save $1M annually. ➡️ Delivered $5M in savings by leading freight cost reduction projects, including a Supplier Freight portal, tender negotiations, and packing consolidation. ➡️ Established Daily Operations Reviews and Labour Planning tools across all DCs, driving daily target achievement and backlog management.Key Responsibilities:► Oversee NSW DC operations, leading a 60-member team managing logistics for 30,000+ SKUs.► Collaborate with the COO on strategic plans and advise on enterprise projects and operations.► Primary IT liaison for MS Dynamics 365 deployment, driving productivity improvements across 8 DCs.► Implement a Labour Planning tool to track productivity and display performance dashboards.► Developed Daily Operations Review routines to standardise planning and monitor performance.► Lead budget management, forecasting and establishing cost savings targets.► Chair management meetings to update stakeholders on project progress and fiscal performance.► Engage with IT, Finance, and Sales to drive strategic collaboration and operational improvements.► Review team requirements, allocating resources for shopfloor support and project scoping.► Maintain stakeholder buy-in through change management and internal communications.
