My current experience has seen me take up various roles within the small business community.Duties carried out in previous roles:Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.   Post journal entries and reconcile accounts, prepare trial balance of books, maintain general ledgers, and assist in preparing financial statements.   Correspond with vendors and suppliers.Pay petty cash to the operations team after management approvals.Record invoices from vendors in the system.Create and track payment schedules.Obtain account statements from vendors and suppliers and reconcile supplier accounts.Prepare payments with manager approval.Send payment instructions to the processing department.Update vendor ledgers.Register new vendors and establish credit agreements.Prepare capital expenditure and operating budgets for the infrastructure team using ERP software SAP.Create budgets for infrastructure works such as construction, renovation, and maintenance, as per management requirements.Request for quotations (RFQs) from various approved vendors.Review tender documents, quotations, prepare bid price comparisons, negotiate, and select vendors.Send purchase requisitions to the purchasing department.Coordinate with the purchasing department for awarding purchase orders.Ensure goods receipt and work execution.Verify invoices upon goods receipt and payments.
