Founding member and design engineer for an agritech startup designing a controlled-environment growth system with support from NASA and the CSA.- Developed detailed requirements model which consolidated internal, external, and technical requirements into a definitive scope with objectives, their associated metrics, and all constraints. This provided a consistent set of design guidelines which minimized miscommunication across teams and ensured subsystem compatibility.- Showcased development progress in a limited-length deliverable report which was judged by a NASA/CSA panel and awarded an ongoing development grant.- Learned CAD using Fusion 360 to collaboratively model components and their role within the system. Incorporated manufacturer parts and maintained a bill of materials to ensure consistency and scalability.- Researched industry standards in food safety, handling, HACCP, and testing to develop a thorough safety and testing plan. Received approval from NASA/CSA panel.- Developed driver circuit for mesh nebulizer disk using both hardware and software simulation. Operated within strict manufacturer limits to avoid failure or inaccurate vapour size. Currently learning how to implement this circuit in PCB design.
