Completed various proof of concepts relating to Hadoop, Spark over a period of one year.Worked to ingest relational database data into HDFS using Sqoop framework from various sources. Used Cloudera Distribution of Hadoop to analyse large datasets. Leveraged the power of Apache Spark (in-memory system) to increase the overall computation speed and facilitate analysis over streaming data.Used Spark’s Mllib library to predict Customer Churn using telecommunication sector sample data. Compared the accuracy of Naïve Bayes and Decision Tree algorithms for the same case study.Responsible for connection and sync of Hive ad Spark with BI tools like Tableau and PowerBI.
