While working as a hostess I've handled the duties of welcoming guests, handling phone calls, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth flow of customers through the restaurant.

Participated in Reality Check, a youth-led group dedicated to raising awareness about the dangers of smoking and vaping among young people. Reality Check is a program through Tobacco-Free Erie and Niagara Counties, being apart of a bigger organization: CAI. We organized community outreach initiatives, including presentations, workshops, and social media campaigns, to educate peers and local communities on health risks related to tobacco use. Collaborated with schools, public health agencies, and local organizations to support tobacco-free policies and advocate for stricter regulations on youth-targeted marketing. Engaged with lawmakers and stakeholders to influence policy, while creating research-backed educational materials to further youth understanding of public health and nicotine addiction.

I actively engaged in a specialized program aimed at educating youth in the Buffalo-Niagara region on environmental sciences, fostering a deep understanding of environmental policies and their governmental regulations. This immersive experience ignited my passion for public policy, illuminating its miscellaneous applications in our daily lives.
