I was a tech-lead of a key oncology platform serving variety of genomics and compound sensitivity data. I coded and scaled most of its backend, which allows querying this ever-growing datasets in almost constant time. I also built analytics capability to look for answers for interesting questions on the data.My key accomplishments are:- Designed and coded caching techniques for querying large-scale datasets, which brought several seconds of response time down to sub-second.- Developed "unconventional" techniques for visualizing large data sets in the most efficient way using TIBCO Spotfire.* Performance tuning and optimization strategies of several systems.
