Results assess the near-term biological and economic feasibility of a US microalgae-based biofuels production system.Investigated optimal control strategies for powered air purifying respirators used by first responders. Implemented a custom embedded blower controller and wireless DAQ system.Advised and informed the design process for the design and manufacture of a fuel cell powered hybrid electric motorcycle. • Participated in 7 assessments of manufacturing plants, and developed recommendations for energy efficiency and conservation including relighting projects, demand scheduling, pump, compressor, and fan replacement under contract to U.S. Department of Energy. Recommendations written for these assessments include a technical and economic summary of annual usage and demand savings and implementation costs and simple payback period.
