Operation Engineer
CurrentMaintenance and Operation: Ensuring that all equipment in the hydropower plant is properly maintained and operated to ensure maximum efficiency and safety.Start up and shut down all plant equipment independently. Issue safe work permits and prepare equipment for maintenance in compliance with all, guidelines, policies and procedures.Troubleshooting: Identifying and diagnosing any problems or issues that arise with the equipment or processes in the power plant and working to resolve them.Safety and Compliance: Ensuring that all safety regulations and compliance standards are met and that all employees are properly trained and informed about safety protocols.Data Collection and Analysis: Collecting and analyzing data related to the operation of the hydropower plant, including energy production, equipment performance, and efficiency metrics.Optimization: Continuously evaluating and optimizing the performance of the hydropower plant to maximize energy production and minimize downtime.Planning and Coordination: Working with other departments within the hydropower plant, such as maintenance, engineering, and finance, to ensure that all aspects of the operation are coordinated and aligned with the overall goals of the plant. Identify and scope out opportunities to maximize production, minimize operating costs, and eliminate downtime.Reporting: Preparing reports and presentations for management and other stakeholders to communicate performance metrics and updates on the operation of the power plant. Responsible for managing inventory levels for equipment, spare parts, and materials needed for plant operations. Keeping track of inventory levels, ordering materials as needed, and ensuring that inventory is properly organized and maintained.
