Holder of a higher degree in IT as well as an engineering degree in computer networks, I am working as a Senior System Engineer within the IT department of a group of companies based in Dubai. I am responsible of maintaining the IT systems and the related software engineering activities. In 2008, I was given the opportunity to work at Areva T&D (currently known as GE Grid Solutions) as a SCADA System Engineer and attended several trainings in France on Areva's e-terraplatform™ system.As a member of an engineering team from France and Tunisia, I worked within the Tunisian National Control Centers project; this project consisted in designing and building of two new control centers. The control centers will enable the national utility Société Tunisienne de l’Electricité et du Gaz (STEG) to efficiently manage the country’s entire power transmission network. Each control center was equipped with a SCADA and Energy Management System based on AREVA’s e-terraplatform™ software.I actively participated to the system engineering and administration tasks related to the central SCADA/ EMS master station throughout the different phases of the project (on-site integration, configuration, testing, deployment and commissioning). This responsibility involved using the analytical skills that I acquired through my graduation coursework both theoretical and practical.My ability to work well as part of a team also related to my success. These attributes, combined with my enthusiasm to learn, were essential to my contributions and success during my work experience.I'm In charge of all IT aspects related to:- supporting- maintaining- developing- deployingI am looking for the opportunity to perform in this capacity.
