In my past role I was employed as a youth offending service caseworker. During this time I worked closely with young people ranging in age from 11-18 and from a range of backgrounds who are at risk/ have engaged in offending behaviour in the community. I completed tailor made interventions, ASSET+ reports and assessments to help the individuals I worked directly with. I have also been employed as an Assistant Psychologist in a OPD complex need trauma informed service within the Prison service. This entailed working with young men who presented with emerging personality difficulties in a prison setting. During my employment as an Assistant Psychologist, I worked closely with Clinical and Forensic Psychologists, Art and Music therapists, Occupational Therapists and Prison Officers. Within this role, I supported staff members in writing formulations, delivering group and one to one interventions and managing databases. I have in the past been employed as an Interventions Facilitator at HMPPS delivering a wide range of high, medium and low intensity CBT based accredited offending behaviour programmes in a one to one and group setting.I have extensive experience of working in a highly demanding, fast paced and challenging YOI setting, with individuals who have complex needs and behaviour which challenges. My strengths lie in risk assessments, CBT therapeutic interventions and working with young people.
