Thinet Emirates, a subsidiary of French Multinational, was engaged in the construction of a shopping mall and eight residential towers in UAE, a hotel in Guinea Equatorial and the facility management of a hospital in UAE. Leading the Finance and Accounting function, my responsibilities included Project accounting, Cash flow management, vendor management, Working capital finance, banking and credit facilities, payroll of 500+ employees, ERP implementation, budgeting and variance analysis. I also was responsible for the group investments into various companies across various sectors and different countries.

El Dukair Est was engaged in the supply and maintenance of Medical Equipment to Hospitals managed by the Ministry of Health, Saudi Arabia. Though its subsidiary, Advanced Systems Group, it represented major European and Asian Medical Equipment manufacturers and consumable suppliers in Saudi Arabia. It also managed an Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Leading the Finance and Accounts function, i was responsible for working capital management, budgeting, variance analysis, bid development, pricing decisions, payroll for over 100 employees, banking and credit facilities and ERP implementation.

Joined Tata Elxsi as an "Industrial Trainee" (final year of Indian Chartered Accountancy training program) in 1995 and obtained training in handling personal taxation of 200+ employees. Was also involved in collating inputs for the monthly management reports. Also finalised Fixed Assets and Depreciation schedule for year end financial statements.On completion of CA Final exams in first attempt, was absorbed by the company and given the position of Senior Executive Finance in August 1996. Was responsible for financial clearance of all customer orders to ensure the profitability requirements are met after providing for all costs. Daily revenue and profitability dashboard maintenance, largest vendor account and monthly management reports, co-coordinating with auditors for year end financial statements. Due to a high performance rating, was promoted in 15 months to Associate Manager Finance in Nov 1997.
