I've always had a natural curiosity for machinery. As a child I loved taking things apart just to see how it works, well doing so I used to end up breaking my toys, however this curiosity led me to realize my interest and soon I had a degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda (M.S.U).During beginning of 4th year of university, L&T had offered me job as Mechanical Design Engineer, now It's been almost 4 Years and I had opportunities to work on Variety of projects.- I worked with Germany based OEM for the development of safety system for Pre-analytical instruments. We are developing the new interlocking system as per the requirements of IEC 61010-2-101 and ISO 14119. As Mechanical developer the project responsibility includes Selection of interlocks as per ISO 14119, designing of sheetmetal and machined parts, load calculations, torque and strength calculation for fasteners, gas spring calculations, creation of drawings as per ISO 2768 mK/ISO 8015.- Previously, I have worked on the migration project to transfer the production of subsystems from USA to China for the U.S.A. based OEM. Project Responsibilities included revising the tolerances as per the new supplier's capability, performing tolerance chain analysis to ensure the assembly, updating the drawings and building the function module(FAI).- I also have experience working with engineering change management activities e.g. Engineering change requests and Engineering change orders.During this short span, I had opportunities to work with people across the globe.
