- Board member: Luminary Therapeutics; Board observer: Nectin Therapeutics, KAHR Medical, Telo Therapeutics, Cullinan MICA, Fortis Therapeutics, Tidal Therapeutics- Drove deal flow and led diligence for venture investments in 10 cancer therapeutics companies (seed through clinical stage) with two exits. Negotiated deal terms. Served in roles of increasing responsibility, eventually leading the fund's investment strategy and operations.- Served as board member and observer and provided strategic guidance to portfolio companies.- Played key role in generating deal flow (250+ opportunities evaluated) and sourcing majority of MIF portfolio. Provided regular updates to board, current and prospective donors, and other key stakeholders.

- Reviewed investment opportunities for MGB Ventures across oncology, autoimmune, and neuro.- Strategic planning and fundraising for seed-stage oncology platform covering entirely novel class of targets.- Triage of new invention disclosures and analysis of deal terms with BD & Licensing group.

Development of new ventures in gene and cell therapy (gene therapy vectors, mRNA, cell replacement), including initial indication strategy for Orna Therapeutics. Projects included due diligence, competitive intelligence, market research, revenue forecasting, and private and public portfolio analytics.

- Built platform for rapid screening and discovery of non-invasive biosensors for intestinal diseases (covered in BioWorld July 2, 2019). Discovered novel biosensors to detect intestinal inflammation.- Awarded $50k pilot grant from Center for Microbiome Informatics & Therapeutics at MIT.

- Indigo is a Flagship company founded on the development of new biologicals to improve crop production.- Managed scientific team and external partners through launch of R&D program and proof of concept.- Designed field trial strategy and coordinated launch of first trials in US, Canada and Europe.- Expanded IP portfolio to cover broad range of microbial technologies.

- Introduced and developed concept for Indigo. Designed discovery program and commercialization strategy; established founding IP; built team; regulatory strategy; academic collaborations and licensing.- Launched Indigo with $7.5M Series A in November 2013.- Awarded $2M grant through Genome Canada Genomic Applications Partnership Program.
