International Citizen Service (ICS) is an overseas volunteering programme funded by the UK Government's DFID. I worked in Lindi, Tanzania with the primary aim to develop Education - led by Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO).• Facilitated employability, English and critical thinking sessions to large classes of students.• Organised several community action days; with around 400 people from the local community attending each event in an attempt to bring short term and long term change.

An intense sales internship for students. The programme seeks to significantly improve communication, relationship building, sales and leadership skills. Our role was to raise long term support for a given charity (SeeAbility) through door-to-door fundraising. • Achieved 45 long term donors, equating to raising over £20,000 for SeeAbility.• Grand National Award.
