During this period, I established my own dessert business, offering a diverse range of products including baked goods and artisanal sweets such as cupcakes, cakes, cookies, chocolate-covered strawberries, and breakable hearts, among others. I initiated the business with a comprehensive business plan, carefully analyzing financials and investing in essential supplies to maintain low production costs and ensure profitability.As the sole operator, I handled all aspects of the business, including product creation, packaging, and delivery. My highest production and sales typically occurred during holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Christmas, and Easter. However, I also maintained consistent sales throughout the year by catering to special events like birthdays and anniversaries, which provided a steady demand for my desserts.In my role as business owner, manager, and producer, I embraced multiple responsibilities and navigated various challenges, consistently delivering exceptional products. Within just one year, my business achieved profitability through meticulous attention to detail, effective marketing strategies, and operational efficiency.Ultimately, I made the difficult decision to close the business to dedicate my full attention to my academic pursuits and complete my college degree, as the demands of the business required significant time and focus that I could not divert from my studies.

I ensured transparent communication between clients and our legal team as I handled telephone calls, meetings plans, and conference organization requirements while adjusting to the language preference. Also, I prepared, mailed, and arranged for delivery of legal correspondence to clients, witnesses, and court officials in the appropriate language. Lastly, I participated in client interviews as well as observed questioning processes and documented information in the language of preference for each case.

It was a summer job but I decided to continue working there for a bit longer. As the only cashier during my shift I learned how to work fast and efficiently. I had to take orders, maintain a clean environment, and provide the best customer service in order to ensure quality assistance.

As an intern I helped with various tasks but the most crucial one involved translating phone calls and allowing for transparent communication between the clients and my employers. Some other tasks included scheduling appointments for clients, faxing essential records, organizing important files, and reviewing paperwork to ensure accuracy.
