Looking to put my Bachelor’s degree in biology to good use. I am a dedicated worker who likes to excel in every task I am given. More than anything, I love learning and invoking a love for learning in others. I have worked as a tutor privately and for a high school AVID program, and I have also mentored in a middle school through AmeriCorps. At CSUB, I had the opportunity to work as a research assistant for a behavioral neuroscience lab for four years. Even as a lab assistant I was able to share knowledge with my fellow lab assistants by training the new assistants. I also had the opportunity to present at research conferences as big as the Society for Neuroscience conference. Currently, I am working towards a degree in nursing, so that I may be able to work directly with patients. In the meantime, I am working as a data entry clerk at WestPac Labs. I have learned so much about all the pathological tests done by the lab, insurances, and have even gotten experience in customer service by doing patient callbacks.
