Responsible for over seeing all New Product Launch Logistic task at plant level during the launch phase for defined Business Unit/Project and assuring a transparent handover to the Focus Factory before the SOP.Key activities:Plan new Raw Materials belonging to the project and assure availability for Line Release, PV,PPAP and SOP. While taking into account MOQ, Inventory Value,Supplier Lead Times,Dual Source, Logistics Cost, among others.Plan and execute whit the multifunctional team a raw material replenishment plan to the production line.Align new supplier to the Vitesco Standard Process: Invoicing,EDI, labeling, forwarder, transit routes.

Mexico

At a large scale, responsible for monitoring forwarder performance and implementing actions to reduce transport damages. Work with global suppliers to optimize shipment frequencies, documentation errors, missing ASN, delivery performance monitoring and improvement actions to reduce deviations. Monitor supplier complaints, request 8D and validate corrective action in daily operation.

Mexico

Responsible for monitoring and follow up of inbound shipment from international supplier. Partial management of the Asia and Europe sea freight transportation for consolidated container loads. Management of all the international air freights both parcel and heavy loads. Follow up of ground freight for inbound shipments from US and Canada. Work on a global environment to assure our targets were met. Activities start with supplier shipment notification, coordination with forwarder on shipment service, follow up on pickup and delivery status, validate necessary documents are available for the dispatch process and notify at all times the status to our planning/production teams.
