As the Product Design Manager at Chargify, I constantly communicate and collaborate with Product and Engineering to ensure that the design team is successfully completing the design work that is needed to deliver the best possible experience for our users. I do my best to empower the designers on my team to do their best work and grow their skills across the spectrum of design. Additionally, in this player-coach role, I also deliver design work on our more complex features. I continuously advocate for moving towards a more design-centered business approach and gladly educate other orgs on the value and practices design brings to the table.

Skyline is a publication written, designed, and produced by students at Trinity University's Communication department. As art director I was tasked with coming up with the overall visual style of the magazine. The main goal of the magazine is to provide an exhibition space for the best of Trinity University's student magazine writing. My task was to assess what visual elements would ensure an equally quality look and feel. Working closely with the managing editor along with our faculty advisors, fonts, colors, and image treatments, were chosen. Upon putting in place these student guidelines, I worked closely with students as they designed layouts in order to ensure a cohesive, yet creative and interesting publication.

My thesis for my degree in Communication resulted in the creation of a zine, a not-for-profit self publication. I created a smaller format magazine that showcased emerging artists and designers' work in the local community. I contacted and conducted six interviews and then designed and printed a 7 x 8.5 inch 15 page zine. I distributed the zine in different areas in San Antonio (Downtown, Southtown, Museum Reach of the Riverwalk).

• Design engaging graphics for print and web. This includes, event invitations, promotional items, web site and social media graphics, posters, banners, and other marketing materials as needed. • Work closely with the Press's team to translate their concepts into marketing materials. • Juggle multiple projects, both design and photography-related, while effectively managing timelines and expectations.
