I quickly became familiar with the Microsoft 365 suite, including SharePoint, Outlook and other office applications, Active Directory and Windows 7-11 as well as Windows server 2003-2022. I was able to provide 1st line support to our clients, as well as some 2nd line support, using the knowledge I learnt to assist others on the tech desk. We also provided a backup service for our clients usingAltaro/HornetSecurity, N-Able and Veritas backup software, which I spent a lot of time on, configuring, ensuring the backups were running as intended and rectifying any issues which may arise. Since leaving college, I have earned some income by occasionally working at Aarons Campsite as bar staff. The bar is very compact with a wide range of products, and often caters for over 100 people on a typical summer weekend. The bar can only fit 2 staff at once and so I work as an assistant to one supervisor. Working in a small space at a fast pace requires good communication and efficiency. The class was segmented into groups of four, and as one of the higher achievers in my class, it was decided between my group members that I would take the role of team leader.
