Transforming approach to leadership development aligning to Civil Service framework, building coaching skills in managers, and building interventions that create psychologically safe teams where colleagues feel a sense of belonging. As a subject matter expert I encourage and enable the focus of staff experience in strategic priorities and transformation programmes.

Working in this project focused role I applied positive organisational psychology to talent management and inclusion, launching talent pools (focused on potential), staff networks (enabling voice), reciprocal mentoring (building self-awareness); whilst building a call to action through key note events. I worked closely with the Head of Leadership and wider HR to build inclusivity through all people processes.

I grew the team from one to a team of four, designing and facilitating leadership development for senior leaders across the organisation. During my time in this role the team expanded its remit from leadership development to include organisational development interventions such as embedding organisational values and developing a leadership framework. Other activities included delivering 360 feedback, facilitating MBTI sessions, team coaching and staff engagement activities. Following my promotion I began managing large scale projects continuing to focus on employee experience, but now informing direction of activities as well as leading a fellow team member.

In this role I developed many basic skills associated with research and the employee experience. Activities included supporting both focus group and large scale survey research. Research focused on employee experience in role as well as support provided for military families.
