Responsibilities: • Writing code in one or more programming or scripting languages, such as WordPress, Magento, PHP, CodeIgniter, laravel.• Planning and prototyping new applications• Designing the architecture of the components of an application• Deciding on the best technologies and languages for the project• Testing sites and applications in different browsers and environments• Problem solving• Fixing bugs in existing projects• Testing new features thoroughly to ensure they perform the correct task in all cases• Researching, incorporating and contributing to Open Source projects• Meeting designers, developers and project staff for progress updates• Gathering requirements from clients and users• Learning and testing new technologies, frameworks and languages

Responsibilities:• Meeting clients to identify their needs and liaising regularly with them.• Drawing up detailed website specifications.• Developing sample page layouts including text size and colours.• Developing graphics, animations and manipulating digital photographs.• Registering web domain names and organising the hosting of the website.• Presenting initial design ideas to clients.• Coding using a variety of software.• Working with different content management systems.• Search engine optimisation.• Meeting relevant legal requirements such as accessibility standards, freedom of information and privacy.• Designing the website's visual imagery and ensuring it's in line with company branding policy or the requirements of the client.• Testing the website to ensure it is working.
