I worked on a variety projects for the City of Rockville's Department of Public Works. I participated in the Pavement Inventory Project, where I digitized over 4000 road markings on City owned roads using the City's aerial imagery and street view and satellite imagery in Google Maps for verification purposes. In addition to the Pavement Inventory Project, I reproduced and updated previously made Department maps in order to provide accurate data for process analysis and decision-making. I also assisted City employees with basic geospatial processes in ArcMap.

I worked on the Guardrails and Traffic Barriers Project for the client, the Maryland State Highway Administration (MD SHA). For the Project, I post processed points that represented the ends of guardrails, called End Treatments, that were collected using Survey 123 along roads maintained by the MD SHA. I used street view and satellite imagery for verification purposes for post processing the End Treatment points. I also digitized guardrails, bridge parapets, barriers, and road delineators along roads maintained by the MD SHA in an editor web application on ArcGIS Online, which I verified using street view and satellite imagery as well.

I led a training session for MDEM employees to learn about using the updated OSPREY application. In addition, I produced maps to be used in emergency planning for disaster assessment. I helped in the creation of an online crowdsource application that the public could use to report incidents of damage, debris, and flooding as well.
