I did policy research for Governor Snyder's campaign, so I thought I'd try and stay involved by interning.

I came up with the idea, and then the team came and made it way better. We built something awesome in a weekend, and we're still developing it, just because it's fun.

A startup idea that I pursued for half a year then decided to move on to other opportunities. It was a critical learning experience though.

I managed the finances and sat on the executive board of Michigan State Model United Nations, a yearly Model UN conference for high school students from across the nation.

I helped with the policy research behind Rick Snyder's innovative legislative agenda, and helped frame and communicate the agenda in a way that resonates with a broad cross-section of Michigan voters.

I lived and breathed DC-style politics for a month. It was an enlightening experience, to see how things really work in huge organizations like the federal government. I'll never forget it.
