-Decisions loans within loan limits that have been submitted to Central Lending for review.-Verifies each loan officer is staying within guidelines and procedure set by management.-Ensures decision-making turnaround times and quality standards are exceeded.-Assists with training, coaching, and the development of loan officers.-Updates policies and procedures, making changes when necessary.

Lcc / Consumer Lending

-Interviews members and prcesses loan applications while adhering to credit union policies and procedures.-Interprets the credit report and does verifications as necessary.-Performs projected loan calculations for members to help in estimating their financial impact.-Proactively offers additional products and services to completement members immediate product needs.-Create opportunities for expanded member relationships by determining other member needs aside from the immediate product they've inquired about.-Serve as a work leader and an information resource for the processors and underwriters.-Meet minimum protective solutions and production goals as assigned.-Ensure timely, efficient and effective delivery of loan services for members.-Provide financial counseling and product solutions to members in order to solve their financial needs.

- Maintain consumer loans and home equity loans based on experience and knowledge of credit union policies, procedures and regulation. - Provide guidance and support to the Consumer Loan staff and all service centers. - Communicate with members and crewmembers to provide loan account and service information for both consumer loans and home equity loans. - Assist members in resolving loan account differences. - Prepare letters and verifications in response to members servicing needs. Adjust payments on all consumer loans and home equity loans as needed. - Create and adjust the receivables for all consumer and home equity loans as required to ensure the members loans are maintained properly. - Create new allotments and corrects existing allotments when needed. - Assist the collection department with payment errors, reversals and extension agreements on problem accounts. - Adjust interest rates as required for both consumer and home equity loans.

I would answer between 60 and 100 calls a day answering questions or making transactions on members accounts. I also handled the credit card, billpayer, and online troubleshooting as part of the Help Desk team. Furthermore, I was also rotated in and out of the Posting department which would involve posting 100-300 payments a day.
