Multi Talented Virtual Assistant & Legal Assistant/Paralegal. I've done everything they told me I couldn't. Started as a sales girl for a little ISP in the mid 90's, then for the ISP that brought internet through your cable, lastly for an observatory in Hawai'i with no degree after they told me I could never do that, sat up at 14k feet playing with telescope instruments with my no degree having ass. Right then I gave myself permission to stop over achieving. Raised in the projects in San Francisco with the odds against me, I love a good odds game. I pursued my first love, law and had fun learning different legal industries. It was an easy transition from tech to law (in case you're wondering what to do next) Finally, injured and couldn't work, on Perm Disability but couldn't keep myself out of the game completely. Moved to Hawai'i with the desire to live the rest of my life in Paradise. Was propelled off the island by a volcanic eruption in my neighborhood, discovered that I didn't have the right plan in mind, I returned to the mainland and settled in San Diego for a minute to re-calibrate. Settled in the beautiful Pacific Northwest and found a perfect position that both worked with my disability and my desire to work in education. I outgrew the position and am now working from home on various projects and working on relaunching my Paralegal career once I return to San Jose in the Summer of 2024 supporting attorneys. I have over a decade of experience in the legal industry and am continuing to learn and explore new fields. I can pair my technical skillset with my legal experience to assist with document management and database creation. Additionally, I've embarked on a health journey and am a Certified Health Coach with an emphasis on lowcarb and keto. I've been featured in a few magazines for my dramatic transformation, but at the core of it all I'm still the same Nina I've always been, I just know myself a little better now. I'll still clap back if you get out your lane tho. :) Moral of story?Don't be afraid to re-invent yourself, over and over til you find the fit you like and do all the things they say you can't do ! If you like them, do them twice !
