The presentation I created was to be presented to the various heads of different departments. • Demonstrated my ability to efficiently analyze raw data into workable excel spread sheets then to develop a presentation in power point that clearly demonstrated trends, and potential high revenue markets. My job there is a reactive position, whereas im presented with a claim or maybe a project that my manager or other managers would like to see if it is feasible. Then i analyze our market or other markets buying habits, demographics or social habits to help bring a better view of future market reactions to the implementation of said project.

A very hands on internship, my first project involved me doing a reasearch study where I was in charge of collecting direct mailing from the area for the period of a month and then designing a Excell spreadsheet which stated how many ad dollars were spent in every zip code that we delivered in on direct mailings. This data will be used by the sales and advertising departments to know what businesses are advertising in our market and not with our paper.Another project was to research what makes an online advertisment effective and design a pdf for our advertisers and sales departments to help improve our online ads. I worked alongside the the Marketing department and gain knowledge of the deparments responsibilities and how it works. I watched projects start from nothing and get presented to the finance heads.
